The Vancouver Islamic Center
We are the Vancouver Islamic Center (VIC), formerly known as Fraserview Muslim Community Services. For the past 20 years, our center has been a cornerstone for the Muslim community in South Vancouver, providing a space for daily prayers, Qur’an classes, and community gatherings. Over the years, we have grown alongside the needs of our community, transitioning from a small facility to one that serves a diverse and vibrant population. Our commitment to preserving Islamic identity and promoting a comprehensive Islamic way of life based on the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم has remained at the heart of everything we do. As we look to the future, we aim to continue expanding our programs and services, ensuring our center remains a welcoming and empowering space for all.
